Delete Your Account

Sri Vidya Peetham (package com.srividyapitam)

You can permanently delete your Sri Vidya Peetham account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete instantly in the app (recommended)

Open the Sri Vidya Peetham app and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete my account”.
Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from any address and we will delete your account:

Email: support@srividyapitam.app
Subject: Delete my Sri Vidya Peetham account
Include: your registered mobile number (with country code) and your full name.

We verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request.

What gets deleted

Your account and login credentials
Your profile details (full name, mobile number, Nakshatram, Gothram)
Your chant counts and your entire chanting history
Your seva donation records and any payment screenshots you uploaded

This cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your chant history and seva records are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. If you sign up again later, you will start from zero.

Data we may retain

We may retain a minimal record of a completed donation where required for accounting, tax, or legal obligations. Such records are kept only as long as the law requires and are not used to identify you in the App.
